on behalf of The Game Bakers. 2025.

Hiya! My name is Morgan Evans.
I’m passionate about digital worlds and supporting their communities.
Allow me to use my expansive knowledge of Social Media
and video production to help your creation reach the right audience!
Currently I am based in Somerville, MA, USA, but am willing to relocate
for the right opportunity.

My Career Story

In 2019, I started making personal TikToks. Like most folks, I started
making digital content for fun and to connect with others. I created a
community of over 100,000 followers, and since then, I have leveraged
my experience with social strategy to connect developers and their
creations to their players.

From 2020-2022 I worked for Romanian games publisher Those Awesome Guys
while attending Brown University. In this position I learned how to balance
content creation and community management. As most people in the indie
industry know, you gotta wear a lot of hats to succeed. I wrote and created
our socials content, helped with bug reports, prepared publishing application
analysis for indie games, and filled whatever need I could.

Their portfolio was diverse, from their chaotic breakout hit Move or Die to
their explosive powerhouse Monster Prom. All exciting communities I enjoyed
cultivating, setting new social norms to make them the best places they could be!

I specialize in creating video content, and grew Those Awesome Guy’s TikTok
account from 0 to 50,000 followers within three months.

After my time with TAG, I graduated from Brown university in 2023 with a BA
in Literary Arts. Then I moved on to working with Intelligible Games (Seattle, WA)
in 2023 on their Ace Attorney-like Pro Philosopher 2: Governments and Grievances.
It was challenging to connect this visual novel about philosophy to its audience,
but I am proud of what I have accomplished, driving over 3 Million views to vertical
video content promoting the indie title and philosophy education more generally.

As the sole marketing professional on the team, I served as a one person marketing
department, creating, managing, and running all paid and organic marketing campaigns,
from pre-launch to post-launch.

While working with Intelligible Games, I began working with two other indie studios.
I started with The Game Bakers in 2024, specifically to promote their upcoming survival
climbing game Cairn. It's been an incredible journey working with The Game Bakers,
specifically growing our very active Instagram presence. The videos I write, produce,
and voice, consistently drive thousands of views and active conversions to game wishlists.
During my time at the company, the videos I create have generated millions of views on
Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Cairn is a real gem of a game and has been widely labeled as one of the most anticipated
games of 2026. I’ve been responsible for our organic launch outreach.

I have also been responsible for managing the active communities of our legacy titles.
The hack-and-slash bullet hell Furi, multiplayer romance RPG Haven, and mobile physics
puzzle game Squids Odyssey. It's a pleasure keeping these communities engaged and active
with events in addition to managing forum-side customer support.

Most recently, since 2025, I have been working with Wings Interactive Publishing,
specifically with the Glass Head Dolls team on their project PRISON OF HUSKS.
It's an honor to work with a publishing company that focuses on supporting gender
marginalized developers.

Working with Glass Head Dolls has been a great experience. I’ve been able to work
closely with a tight knit development team, collating and conveying user feedback to help
them create the best game they can, while being able to provide them the support of a
professional publishing house.

All of the PRISON OF HUSKS socials have been blowing up. For Glass Head Dolls, we are
pursuing a developer forward social media strategy, placing the core developer
Hexosphere (Tammy) in the spotlight to bring her creative vision to her audience. I am
responsible for all social content for the brand and have additionally produced several
of the most recent trailers.

I am excited to continue spreading the word about incredible games I’m passionate about!

Social Media and Influencer Consulting

In my free time, I have begun to consult on social media strategy and influencer outreach
campaigns for companies and causes I am passionate about.

Animal Park at The Conservators Center is a nationally renowned big cat sanctuary,
specializing in education and rehabilitating animals such as lions, tigers, and wolves that
have been kept inappropriately as pets and are unfit for wild release.

In 2024 I stepped in as a volunteer consultant and helped them develop their current social media
strategy, specifically informing them about platform best practices and how they might best
leverage their brand to spread conservation awareness to help at-risk and endangered animals.

Since I consulted with Animal Park, they have generated millions of views using my insights.

In 2025 I created and pitched an influencer collaboration campaign to independent game store
Star City Games. The goal of the collaboration was to increase brand
awareness among Magic: The Gathering players by creating innovative and memorable brand activation
videos ahead of the launch of the Avatar: The Last Airbender MTG set.

The videos I wrote and produced racked up thousands of views and educated consumers on how best to
access under-utilized Star City Games product and services offerings.

Current Game Portfolio

Here is the list of games I am currently managing, either on their road to launch, or supporting current
communities.

Cairn

Cairn is a survival climbing game developed and published by The Game Bakers.
Truly a pleasure to work on this game. I am currently managing all organic social media content and
strategy. Our social numbers have always consistently grown while I’ve worked on the project.
Several months ago I conducted a deep research dive on content effectiveness. Using my findings from
the report, I’ve managed to significantly increase user engagement, especially on Instagram.

While working on the project I’ve had the opportunity to write, edit, and voice-act hundreds of TikTok’s,
some of which have accrued millions of views, alongside several game trailers and interviews.

I also community manage the Discord and Steam forums, engaging users with exciting events and connecting players
with technical support. A large part of my job has been collating user feedback and presenting it to the development
team. One of the most consistent requests from the community was a manual control mode. Because of this feedback,
Cairn is launching with four distinct manual control modes, exceeding user expectations.

QA testing the massive mountain has been an entire development team effort, and I’ve submitted my fair share
of bugs that our development team has worked tirelessly to squash.

Cairn will launch January 29th and I encourage everyone to play it!

PRISON OF HUSKS

A love letter to early souls games, PRISON OF HUSKS is a queer meditation of relationships and what it means to
create art. It is published by Wings Interactive and developed by Glass Head Dolls.

Its meditation on mediation and games as an art form really hit home for me. I’m currently managing all social
media strategy and content creation strategy for the game. It immediately connected with people which has made
it really fun to manage. All social channels are growing at a constant rate, along with our forums.

It's been great to work with a small indie team with the support of a large publisher behind us. I’ve been
creating regular reports for the developers with user feedback. The community is already shaping the game, and
in turn, I’ve been writing and preparing Dev Logs to update the community on our progress.

Hexosphere, AKA Tammy, the core developer of the game, is the driving force behind the project. All of our social
strategy revolves around connecting the growing audience with her vision. It's been a delight to write and edit short
form vertical content and trailers for the game, all voiced by Tammy.

Pro Philosopher 2: Governments and Grievances

Pro Philosopher is a philosophy debating sim inspired by Ace Attorney developed by Intelligible Games.
I’m responsible for all of our paid and organic social media outreach, including our influencer outreach campaigns.
Pro Philosopher 1 was a cult hit, and I was worried the second game might go the same way. The writing and deductive
gameplay is excellent, but philosophy and visual novels are a niche subject.

However, through experimentation and persistence I found an audience for the game on Instagram. By actively appealing
to modern trends and popular philosophers, we experienced unprecedented success

Haven, Furi, and Squids Odyssey

Furi is a hack and slash bullet hell from The Game Bakers.

Haven is a co-op romance RPG from The Game Bakers.

Squids is a mobile forward physics puzzle adventure from The Game Bakers.

I manage all socials for these properties, including video socials. I also organize regular community events in The
Game Bakers Discord Server including Trivia, speedruns, and fanart competitions.

Past Game Portfolio

Below you'll find a list of games I have been responsible for managing
throughout my career. Under the titles I will provide a brief description
of how I impacted each game's development and publishing strategy.

Monster Prom

Monster Prom is a cult hit competitive Monster Dating Game!
It holds a special place in my heart as the first game I ever
live streamed on Twitch with my friends, in addition to being
the first game I managed professionally.

I served as the Community and Social Media Manager for
Monster Prom as an employee of it's publisher,
Those Awesome Guys, from 2020 to 2023.

During that time I wrote and published copy for socials with
an audience of over 200,000 followers. I also managed the
incredibly active Discord and Steam forums,
keeping more than 30,000 fans engaged with daily interaction,
developer responses, bug fixes, and special community building
events such as livestreams and fanart competitions.

Deepest Chamber

Deepest Chamber is a rogue-like deck building card battler.
I was responsible for organic social media strategy and organic
launch strategy for the project.

It was an exciting launch and the project generated significant buzz,
and was even played by popular streamer Northernlion.

I managed the property while working for the title’s publisher,
Those Awesome Guys, during 2023. During that time I created and
grew a thriving Discord and social media community.

I also playtested the game and collated user and publishing team
feedback to assist in development. One of the most enjoyable parts
of the project for me was voicing the Knight in the early access
release trailer!

Move or Die

Move or Die is a fast paced competitive party game with couch co-op
and online multiplayer. It was one of the first games I managed while
working at Those Awesome Guys.

It had a highly engaged core community and I was responsible for
expanding that community and redefining the user culture to become
more welcoming. I achieved this through strategic event planning and
intentional changes made to social media and brand voice.

Community Character Collaboration (Contest)

One of the most exciting events that I managed from conception to completion was the Community Character Collaboration (Contest)
for Move or Die

The Move or Die discord community consistently created amazing fan characters for Move or Die so I suggested we harness their
creativity and put some of those characters in the game

I reviewed the many many submissions and then our community voted on which three to include in the game
The TAG art team did an amazing job putting these fan submissions in the game while remaining true to their
original designs.

I was also responsible for managing the organic social media strategy
for the Nintendo Switch launch of the game.

Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom

YTGV Was the last game I worked on while at Those Awesome Guys.
Its a fast paced game inspired by Crazy Taxi and Super Mario 64.
I helped the team with initial outreach strategies, including
creating all of the developers' social channels. I also helped
the team name the game, and I’m pretty proud of the title
we came up with.

Since its launch, Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom has achieved cult hit
status, especially among the speedrunning community. It was even
played in Games Done Quick 2024

Super Mini Mart

Super Mini Mart was a super market simulator I managed near the
end of my time with Those Awesome Guys.

I established most of the developer’s social channels, helping
them get set up with TikTok.

It’s a super cute game!
